It's interpretation and utilization of space.
Tourism, human circulation considered as consumption is fundamentally nothing more than the leisure of going to see what has become banal. |

Dude... if you do that... I will meet you there personally and video that shit... lol. You'd beat the Jackass crew handsdown. Yeah, as tempting as it was to break some, we did wonder aloud what it'd be like running into'em at a jog.

| | | I remember what exploring was like before I became an engineer and learned a lot about manufacturing. It takes a lot of fun out of it. There's so many times people take pictures of mysterious crazy looking things, and in reality their just old boring one off machines or bashed to hell HVAC/piping or just piles of literal crap. The worst is the close up of meter's/valves. Stop it!!!

I've never heard anyone else say that, but I agree in a way. I used to always say that, when I was in an industrial abandonment, I felt like I was in an alien spaceship. A lot of that beautiful mystery is gone now that I know what most things are. "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." -Einstein

It kind of explains my entire philosophy when it comes to exploring and beauty and aesthetics and it explains the closest thing that I have to any kind of spirituality. Hence my UER signature.

It's hard to tell the scale from just the DD cup by the head. But it looks to be feline, maybe even a mountain lion if that area supports them. I know of a mountain lion that lives in an abandoned school out here. Apparently it's not so uncommon.

I've found it the opposite in some cases. There's me getting excited by some thing that most people would walk right past without so much of a glance or maybe a quick snap for the collection. Part of the hobby for me isn't just taking pics in a cool and fook location but actually seeing what there is to see and discovering more about the former use of the place. If I can gain a little bit more knowledge about what went on there then I am one happy bunny at the end of the day.

Yeah, I'm going to contradict myself now and say I agree with that too. Which is why I do research and learn about how places work.
