So we (PHOTOCBEAR) get to this place and there is new deadbolts on all the doors.. We walk around back and there is a 6 foot tall vintage video game just sitting there to weather the elements I decided to try the back door sure enough it is open. YES!!!

So we set up and kinda spread out to different parts of the main floor as not to get in each others shots.. we got about half way through the house and we could smell smoke? Bear "Do you smell smoke?" Yes I do? was more like cigarette smoke.. I figured the bear was holding out on smokes on me . Bear decided to head upstairs to get some shots of the stairs and I went back to the main entrance towards the other staircase. I decided to go up and get some shots and got a weird vibe like it was time to go. I opened the door you see in the attic shot and knew it was time to go and ASAP. There were candles spoons and needles everywhere WTF. Bear its time to go there is something not right here.

So we get outside and we are shooting the junk and wonderful stuff left behind and we begin to twitch the inside of the house is calling.. So I tell Bear go get your shot and I will keep six outside while you are in there. Bear is gone 30 seconds and some guy pulls up to the gate in a white pick up FACKKKKKK BEAR!!! BEAR!!! We gotta go and GO NOW!!!

Truck is pulling down the laneway and we are walking around the roundabout on the property to avoid being seen. Truck pulls around back of the house and we haul ass up the lane to get the Fack outta dodge!!! Let me tell you that lane way was way too long!!!

The bear I can see as a threat. But candles and needles? You know, most substance abusers won't attack you just for the lulz. Most of them are people like you, who had a rough life, and turned to some way to dull it. Not always the right way to dull it, but they tend to want less drama in their life, not more.

Hell, if their're shooting opiates, chances are their too lazy to even get up, and the biggest risk from coke and meth heads is that they'll talk at you so long you starve to death.

What looks like a bottle opener (the b/w) is pretty nice, and the boat is cool. I share the freak out over the druggy stuff--just kind of creeps me out to see that crap.

BTW, does Ouija Board work? Weird that I come from a really Catholic family (12 kids!) and we always had one around. I used to push it whenever we played.

You betcha

Oh this bear is far from a threat!! There was something not right the second we walked in. What did it for me was the new Maxxim mag on a mattress with the butcher knife on the pillow lol

I will add my shots to this thread tonight.

I am not too sure, but it could also be a Coleco Vision instead of an Atari gaming Console.

Oh the outside coin-op, that is actually Galaga

The casing art does appear to be Galaga or Galaxians. The buttons added on after are not unlikely as many cases were used to house different game motherboards.

Someone needs to cover that with a drop cloth, find the owner and then head to Ebay.

Ah, Coleco Vision...how many hours of my young life wasted? (I say that as my son is Wii-ing his little heart out.)

Great location, guys.

It is a busted Intellivision game system.

And yes, always trust your gut, doing so has saved me so many times...

It requires wisdom to understand wisdom: the music is nothing if the audience is deaf.
