Seriously, just be honest with him. If he can't clean up his exploring act, then that's his problem. I'm sure he doesn't like jail any more than the rest of us, so if he's not quiet or agile enough to explore, only take him to places you can't possibly get caught, and don't invite him to the others, or tell him that those ones are locked down at the moment if he wants to go somewhere that is sensitive.
