|  | | | There's an old prep school/church in Wisconsin which is great to visit. There is an old stable, cemetery, tomb, and a multilevel school/church. I visited once, but was an idiot and parked my car right on the private property. Cops came eventually and trespassing tickets were handed out.
Not much is needed if you want to explore this site. I would suggest a camera and headlamp; although something that could pry would be useful.
There is some sort of haunting story that goes along with this site, so it may be more interesting for that reason.

Yeah... those were taken with a crappy disposable camera. I have never been into photography too much. I enjoy photography, just not being a photographer.
Maybe this will change though.

I used to wonder about that place when I lived in Milwaukee, but I'm pretty sure I've read multiple stories of arrests, and avoided it for that reason.

| | | | Yeah - the place is hardly a secret. The location name and location seem to be plastered all over the internet. It's also in the db here. In any event, there is nothing the cops have better to do in that community. They patrol the place constantly and rarely will an hour go by without a drive through by them. I was out there not too long ago and it is under new ownership and they have posted new laminated signs on every door. These guys aren't messing around. There are also cameras now on the backside of the church. So be careful!

The owners are more careful then friendly, and the cops love to watch the place.
From what I hear, very very few have been inside and not gotten caught, and even then, they aren't always non-destructive about their visits.
I thought I saw a link once pointing to a dedicated site, but that has been a long time ago, and I have since cleared my interweb history.
