Isn't there a law about mistreating human remains? Even if you casually happen to discover something vaguely human, aren't you required by law to report it?

Technically the government can't force you to report anything as it may possibly endanger you. Morally though, its up to you.
Actually, I found some Australian law about reporting Aboriginal remains, but they could hardly enforce that.

Outside of that, there's just disposal laws (burial in deemed correct locations, ashes to be spread at green space ONLY [but that's hardly followed]) etc. etc.

someone might bust you on robbery or B&E if you pocket a fingerbone, kidney, or dried up fetus, so watch out.

My Dad used to work at the Marriott Hotel in Worcester in the 1980's ... when there was a Marriott Hotel in Worcester; Sous Chef.
My dad worked with this girl who lived a decent distance away in the inner city and used to bum rides to work and stuff... So my dad was supposed to pick her up the next day so she didn't have to walk. He gets to the apartment and no one answers, so he walks down the road a little bit to he mothers apartment and on the way his coworker was keeled over in a gutter, dead. So he called 911 waited for the paramedics to arrive told them where the girls mother lived. And decided to not stick around; and went to work...
He found out later she had Overdosed on Heroin...
I've never found a dead body... I've see a guy die in front of me, though.
But there was this customer in the resurgent where I work who died in the lobby; He was diabetic and forgot to take his insulin. He fell off his chair, had a seizure, and stopped breathing... The EMT's wouldn't move the body I mean "Help him" till they had cleared the customers out of the way... He didn't have a chance to eat anything though, so not my fault!

You guys carry guns while exploring? I thought that was a major no-no. Can't that turn your trespassing charge into an 'armed robbery' charge or something retarded like that if u get caught? I mean I could see the plus sides of having a side arm during an explore but I would never wanna explain to a cop why I have a loaded weapon inside an abandonment.
