You can see in one of the photographs that there is a section of the bridge deck that is burnt due to arson. Who would want to burn this beautiful structure? I hope it can be saved.

That's the main reason I've never posted about this structure. Expected someone would eventually, as it's now getting more well known. Even a back page article in that BCAA rag.
There are plans to save it, a society dedicated to it's preservation etc. This is the kind of location that in my opinion should not be posted on UER, at least not in a general public thread. For obvious reasons. Frankly I'd be thrilled if you pulled this thread. |
