An asian woman entered the hospital and requested to visit a patient. A nurse informed her that visiting hours had expired for the day and she would need to visit at a later date. Soon after, the asian woman was caught wandering around a prohibited area. She was escorted from the building.

The site was supposed to be demolished this spring, however it looks like it will remain standing due to economic issues and government red tape.

Gorgeous pictures and excellent site. I especially like the studies of the walls that feature peeling paint. Can someone who knows more about paint than me answer why some peeling paint peels away from the wall but sorta sticks to it and leaves a very textured wall, like pudding that's been in the fridge for too long and pulls away into its dish, while some just falls off onto the floor and leaves a perfectly flat (albeit paintless) wall?

If the top coat shrinks just like the pudding, and the bond to the paint underneath is weak (not the correct preparation as an other poster suggested), eventually the top coat will crack. The top surface that is exposed tends to shrink more than the back of the paint so once its cracked it tends to curl. If the bond to the underlaying paint is very weak it will then fall off leaving the orignal paint.
An other effect is the paint blisters due to poor preparation (paint over dirty or algie), if the blister gets to big the paint cracks and some bits flake off.

| | | | Regardless of all the drama of the cops of whatever. These pictures are a mini-tour of the place. They are high quality photos for sure. It's classy messy and sketchy all at the same time. The water fountain with paint chips is so kick ass. It was a ton of pictures and not one was not sweet!!!
