|  | | | Maybe someone here has already mentioned this, but John Hopkins University has security cameras that use computers to pinpoint and highlight anyone who acts weird, whatever that is. http://www.jhu.edu...pr05/11secure.html I don't like Big Brother spying on me, and I shudder to think that these cameras might one day be on city streets. Imagine a camera that sets off alarms and brings security guards running just because you bent over to check out a manhole cover, even if you weren't planning on popping it. So much for the "land of the free" where even your body movements are watched and analyzed.

Some time ago I have made a comparison between two cities of Scotland based on amount of cameras visible for an average person walking down the street. It seems that Aberdeen in contrast with Edinburgh has far more expanded CCTV network and developed surveillance systems (which is kind of weird because it is Edinburgh which is the capitol of Scotland). There are literally hundreds of cameras everywhere possible.
Now I have to figure out why...
