Apparently, it's not that abandoned. Especially considering we triggered a burglar alarm that we missed on our previous trip.

Oops.

Oh, well still you got in, and that's what actually counts, so congratulations anyway!

The personal responsibility train left the station years ago, and you gave it the finger as you watched it leave.

well i guess you got lucky that it was open. did you look through any of the papers or have any idea what they were for? they look pretty new, so it's a good guess the building isn't really abandoned. haha.

glad that burglar alarm didn't get you caught!

This shit is getting to be a habbit rabbit. You really need to drink more or be more careful or both. ETMJ finally figured it out. If the Junkyard is drinking, the cops can't get us. But the ONE time the Junkyard is NOT drinking, they send the dogs after your asses. And by not drinking he means that the beer was before exploring and not during....so it doesn't count. The morale of the story is: Had you and Willy kicked back a few, everything would have been fine. Man, to even attempt a valut without even a sixer........

I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner!
Any problem can be licked with a case of beer and a few sticks of dynamite.

Here's the situation. Last night, while checking out an abandoned building (which is around 100 years old or older), we found a vault in the basement. It's just an old time safe door built into a brick vault. It was locked.

What's worse, is the combination was scratched into a piece of metal near the door, but it was too faded to read correctly.

So, at the risk of slaying my bandwidth, I've put the high-resolution pictures online (although they're not the greatest quality pictures) in the hopes that one of you photoshop wizards can maybe do enough to make the numbers legible.

I've included:

2 monochrome IR photos

1 RAW picture of crappy flash picture:

1 normal crappy flash picture:
http://www.undergr...afe/safenormal.jpg

1 extra-dark picture of the numbers:

I should also mention that, in case it's not obvious from my crappy pictures, the numbers are all written like R/L (number) - (number). I'm assuming the second number is the number of turns or something.

So, there you go. If any of you guys can manage to decipher the numbers, I will happily share pictures of whatever is inside the vault. And I really doubt that anybody has been in that vault in decades. The building is huge, so they don't need the space.

Sorry, didn't realize you got in.

Excellent.....work? LOL!!!
