| | | | Richmond, VA and nearby over Christmas break < on 12/6/2007 2:47 PM >
| | | I'm going to be home from Iceland, Dec 15-28, in the Richmond, Manassas, and Romney (west Va) areas. I'm going to be taking a ton of photos. I'd love to travel around some more abandoned places, or anything that could offer up interesting compositions as well as experiences exploring. Any explorers interested in meeting up for a trip? I've got a photo gallery of my work here: http://www.poopinm...m/net/pictures.htm I know this is one of the first times I've posted, so if people want to meet up for some coffee/burgers/drinks first to make sure everyone's comfortable, I'm down for making new friends too.

| | | If you're looking to make new friends, or even just some new acquaintances, I believe that you need to explain your screen name thoroughly if you have any expectation of meeting 'normal' people.

This is very true. Im in richmond and the surrounding area all the time. I saw this post early and thought one thing? Not a good way to start off. Just my personal opinion.

| | | Not much to explain. Immature joke from high school that I thought would make a memorable nickname and website url. Most of the time the only people who have a problem with it are over 40. Thanks for the PM FNG, I replied.

| | | There are two abandoned houses in Herndon, however you can only get to one of them (unless you get permission for the second one) There are also some abandoned cars (from the 30s-50s) and some farm equipment as well. PM if you are interested.

Like, you think I'm a cop or something? Nope. I'm a student at JMU and am just looking for someone to show me the ropes. I'm kind of afraid to explore homes because I know there are crazy people who live in some of them, so having partner seems like a good idea.

I find this odd since 99.99% of the buildings in NOVA are less than 10 years old.
