| | | | looking at them all now, I still have to say that 5 is still my favorite and so is 7 that camera always did really grab details well in the stone, overall colors are getter better, in no time your going to be making great shots with that camera verry soon

| | | | To answer the first question, some of the damage was without a doubt vandalism. Some looks like it could be age. The cemetery is the Old Burial Ground in Gardner, Massachusetts and it's a small, old cemetery that's no longer used and only loosely maintained. A very pretty spot though.

| | | | I actually look for that specifically when I photograph a cemetery. It's common out on Cape Cod. It just gets me how the trees surround the stones.

The tree just actually grew like that? It looked to me like the head stones were loose and just leaning near or on it. That's incredible.

if you like abandoned cemetaries i know of at least 2 to 3 down here in tioga county pa, all from old mining towns. and all open to the public
they are Fallbrook, Laquin, and Barclay, if you've ever down the way they arent bad to check out especially in fall
