Possible film locations - Seattle area

My friends and I are looking for some locations to shoot a movie and I was wondering if anyone on here knew of some good spots. It's going to be a cheesy action movie and we're looking for industrial areas, etc that would serve as a good backdrop. Preferably in rural areas where we aren't going to be bothered by a bunch of people. Also it would be nice if it wasn't patrolled by guards or killer dogs! I would prefer to do as little trespassing as necessary since we don't want to do anything illegal, we just want to film a movie. Areas north of Seattle would be ideal, but not essential. Any ideas?

I don't mean to be rude, but usually people come here and contribute to the forum before asking for handouts...

true. its not to be rude but, at this day and age you gotta be a little hesitant of new people ( could be cops, vandals, graf writers). I think ( just my own opinion) if you post some urbex locations, you will get soo much more help =)

hope this can help.

I understand your hesitation to post certain locations to new members, and I'm not looking for you to reveal those locations to me. I'm not going to break and enter into any buildings or climb over any fences or anything, we just need some decent exterior locations...something that looks like a factory or industrial building, etc to shoot in front of. I would prefer the kind of place that everyone knows about and no one really cares if people go there or not. I would like to do it as legally as possible, but I would be willing to do some trespassing, just not hopping any fences or entering any patrolled areas.

P.S. I would like to maybe add a couple locations...is there any way to do that in the basic member database, or do I just post them on the forum here? Thanks

its very easy to show what ya got. just shoot some photos, and creat a new thread. once you are ready to show what you have, click HOME up top, and find your part of the country. click on that and start uploading. everyone can see it and get to know you. super easy =)

Put pictures here and talk about them...for all you know they might already be in the DB but you're not a full member so you wouldn't be able to tell. There's tons of places in the Seattle area...If you just want exterior spots drive around. If you want to add things to the DB then why do you need a handout?

There's an office building that is pretty cool on Westlake Ave N at the 1200 Block. There is some fences that you can climb on, and a secluded courtyard that might be cool for filming.

Hope this helps.

Try the town of Ballard. Plenty to choose from. Just a few minutes north of Seattle near the locks.
