Hello,
i´m a 20 years old guy from the south-west of Germany, my english isn´t good, so i try to speak that you can understand me.I´m so much interested (interessed... i dont know) to that what you do. The Past, it´s so very fascinired... My Question: Can you tell me a group in Germany, who i can ask some questions, or can do some expeditions in the near of me ?? I think it´s better when i do this in my language... or ? ;)
Thank you so much

Welcome on UER. You're english is fine. There are a few explorers from Germany in here... Perhaps some of them speaks german. I love Germany and I really want to return in the next few years - it's an amazing country! And Berlin rocks!!!

Thank you so much. Berlin really rocks. It´s over 500 kilometres away of me. I´ve visited Berlin for 4 times in the last 4 years, to Loveparade, for vacation and more... Do you know "Tresor Berlin" ? It was a Technoclub in a old Bankbuilding from the 1920´s or 1930´s. The Club closed in the year 2005, the building was abrupt.
Have you done some expeditions in germany ? If yes, where ?

There are all sorts of old military sites in the former DDR & FRG for you to explore. When the Soviets pulled out of the DDR, I understand some of their cold war bunkers were left intact, minus any classified materials of course, and that the electricity continued to work for years afterwards.

In addition to this web page, you might want to take a look at Germany using Google Earth, with the Google Earth Community Layers turned on, so you can see the various military sites that other users have labelled.

Talking to older people who have lived in the area for a long time & asking them about any old wartime/military sites might even help you find small sites that have been long abandoned/forgotten, but you'll need to be cautious because depending on the location, there might still be old munitions around.

Thank you... I have explored some Miltary areas of the NVA (the army of the GDR) in tender old from 12 years with my grandfather, ca. 30 kilometre to the east of Berlin. Russian barracks, watch-towers etc.I would like to do it again what should i to have with me ? Are there maybe some people who would come with me, because I have only very little experience in such things?!

Hallo!
Mein Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut, aber ich kann besser sprechen als schreiben.
Ich bin oft in Berlin, ich würde also gerne dabei sein!

And now in english: I study history, especially east/west and DDR between 1945 and 1990. Visiting some east german places would have been great. I'm also interested in company exploring Teufelsberg before they demolish it! Anyone in, drop me a message!

Techno, progressive, house, you name it, if it has a nice beat, he spins it.

Techno, Progressist, Haus, nennst du es, wenn es einen netten Schlag hat, er spinnst ihn.

I´m also interested in doing stuff like that. If you have any locations around munich and/or garmisch-Partenkirchen, let me know.

Bin immer an UEs interessiert, als auch an Bunker und militärischen Bauwerken aller Art.

Grüße

Wolf
