for berlin, check out the Berlin Unterwelten society... http://www.berliner-unterwelten.de/

they do some great tours of various underground stuff (mostly bunkers) and a few people in their organization are into various other kinds of structures as well.

for anyone in berlin, has anyone ever been into the Schoneberg Kanal (sewer collector) under Martin Luther Strasse? Have been trying to figure out how to get into that without wading through knee-deep sewage or neck-deep river water, can't find a way! would love any tips although i am heading out of berlin for now... but someday i'll be back and then i'll get into it!

hi,
in fact i know a few great locations in berlin...

1. there´s in TReptower park a verlassene(?) attractionpark (Unterhaltungspark) which is since 10 or 15 years closed. it s so great there, the best is to go there at night, u have the impression to be in a Stephenkings book, that IT will suddently appear with a terrific music... it s great, everything is staying there as it would restart tomorrow(Minetrain, Cars, small boats for kinds, the small"vilage", Dinosaurs....) it s quite easy to find even if treptower park is quite big, u just have from S-bahnhof treptower park to follow the Spree,on ur left, in the direction of the east. just after the bridge which leads to this small island, it s on the right... have fun otherwise u can sea from far away the big Rad(?). only problem, there are some kind of guards who have their houses in the closen park... but it s really easy to stay in the part of the park where they are not and not to be discovered... but better at night. have been there many times totally drunk with friends and we never got taken, i heard when they get u they just throw u away, no police.u get in there very easy, just have to jump..

2. Landsberger allee S-bahnhof: u have a very big building, that they started to build but stopped. it s 13 floors high and very impressive. Nice view on the city, no surveillance even if there are so signs on the building, it s bullshit. to get in there u gotta walk around the building and u ll find a gasstation. just go behind it and u can easily get into the building. just make it quick , i dont really know if the people of the gasstation take care or not. was there also many times with many people, no problem...

3. in the east of berlin, S-Bahnhof Friedrichshaken(i think?) then u gotta take a old mine Trammway to get to a nationalpark or something: it was an old Kalk-karriere, u have to pay to get into the park.... dont do it ! it s expensive and u can t get everywhere u want to. when u re in front of the entrance walk next to the park on the left, u ll soon have to walk on a bridge and get to the other side of the river... continue in the same direction and try to follow the river... u ll get finally to a second bridge, just for trains, don t worry no train is driving there anymore, take this bridge and u ll arrive in a old Facility and huge fabriks, i have no idea what for they exactly were... but it s really impressing, a feeling of destroyed city in war or something... u cant walk a long time there, and even get for free into the park, u can also go to the big hole(even if forbiden) where they took the kalk out of...

well i still have a few stuffs but u have here the best !

have fun!

In addition to this web page, you might want to take a look at Germany using Google Earth, with the Google Earth Community Layers turned on, so you can see the various military sites that other users have labelled.

Where can i find these?

well... as i said for landsberger allee, the building is so huge that u ll see it from the olympic swimming pool or from the S-bahnhof.
The spreepark is really easy to enter, the only thing u gotta take care of isnot to come in where the houses of the guards are. the park is quite like a circle, and the houses are in the south part of it. but don t worry, u have the right to walk around the park so do it once first and u ll see the houses then u can choose where u wanna enter, it s everywhere easy to get in.
for the kalk-karriere i can t explain better cause i went there following the wind !... sorry
if u get to know of other plans in berlin, let me know !

Greetings, and welcome to the Wonderful World of UER.

Or, as we like to say:

Eine halbe Tasse Staubzucker Ein Viertel Teelöffel Salz Eine Messerspitze türkisches Haschisch Ein halbes Pfund Butter Ein Teelöffel Vanillenzucker Ein halbes Pfund Mehl Einhundertfünfzig Gramm gemahlene Nüsse Ein wenig extra Staubzucker ... und keine Eier In eine Schüssel geben Butter einrühren Gemahlene Nüsse zugeben und Den Teig verkneten Augenballgroße Stücke vom Teig formen Im Staubzucker wälzen und Sagt die Zauberwörter Simsalbimbamba Saladu Saladim Auf ein gefettetes Backblech legen und Bei zweihundert Grad für fünfzehn Minuten backen und KEINE EIER Bei zweihundert Grad für fünfzehn Minuten backen und Keine Eier.

Hi everybody,
I'm a french UER, living in Potsdam/Berlin for a few months. I'm looking for some locations to visit in Berlin (I already visited most of what exists in Potsdam).

Ich komme aus Hannover und bin auch noch neu in Sachen UE - fänds durchaus mal interessant, mich in Norddeutschland nach guten Orten umzuschauen - vor allem an der Küste oder in Hamburg - maritim halt ;)

I'm from Hannover and also a newcomer to UE. I'd be interested as well in exploring some sites in northern Germany, especially near the coast or in Hamburg (though not technically "coast", the harbor is still the city's dominating site)

Cool to see other people from around here, I'm also from Düsseldorf, though I find interesting locations are very rare in this area... Germany in many aspects seems to be sort of the most anti-creative country, everything's so orderly... but I'm happy the techno- and electronic music-scene seems to be well known even by you other german guys, I love all that stuff too... If ever again Venetian Snares would come to Berlin, that would give me two reasons to go there

But there's two different kinds. There's bad asbestos, and there's nice asbestos. Anyway, it grows on you.

so far

Hallo redeye,

Kannst du genau angeben, wo sich diese Gebäude befinden? Bremen ist ja ziemlich groß, und es lassen sich schwer einfach so erfoschbare Objekte finden^^
