When i went it was foggy & snowy. The best part was I could see the road but no one could see me! but no, what was to be the highlight of trip was deadbolted & i had brought nothing but a light & gloves.

Well everyone, I haven't been back to the boards since June... damn it's been a long time, but I'm so glad to be seein' this thread still healthy (and with a great Cincy base!)

An update on me:

I am now a UC student and live on campus, so I'm available in Clifton quite a lot. Currently my D40 is broken and I'm gonna have it fixed soon, but as soon as I buy some lithium AAs I can use my old L6 Nikon P&S (as in, buy them tomorrow).

I miss exploring... I met up with FernaldSpectre the other day at his house to catch up on life (we've been best friends since we were 4, and now go to different schools...) and he told me about the conspiracy theory of the FEMA concentration camps around the country (apparently he's researched and/or been to Beech Grove,IN) and it really got my investigative juices flowing again... That's probably my favorite aspect of UE... Damn do I miss it...

Have fun out there everyone! I'll be back here more regularly now I think!

-Cody Globig

BTW, I'm on facebook for anyone who may care, and I'm in the FernaldSpectre/GordonBombay group... if you friend request me, put something about UER in the message...

I'm good either thursday or saturday. I was thinking later in the evening. I know of a place in lockland with guaranteed entry, but there's not much inside of it unless you like graffiti.

I also know of a place on beekman worth checking out, but i'm not sure what's the deal with it. On google maps it's at 2454 beekman. It looks pretty empty, but This is what i was wanting to check it out.

Other than that there's a 4 family house in northside.

Another one worth looking at is an abandoned animal hospital with an equally abandoned apartment atop it in mount airy/colerain. My friend claims to have been inside a couple years back.

Are you speaking of the incinerator stack that pokes out of the trees next too 75 South by the Lockland split? If thats the case, beware of snakes, hobos, and shivs.

It looks pretty empty from the outside, is it worth it? I was in there about a year and a half ago when they were ripping the asbestos out, and it seemed pretty gutted.

Plus, the hippies in Northside watch that thing like hawks.
