|  | | | Fedge and I decided to take a trip downtown to Regent park and take a look around. When we got there we where greeted by 4 pimps and 7 drug dealers. We where able to out run em until we bumped into a transvestite hooker named Buffy. She was scary man! she was able to throw Fedge over the fence into the abandoned part. I said screw this and ran for my life.
I was tackled by a 4 guys wanting my money. I handed over my $2 (which should by them a joint) and ran. I got to Parliament St. when 4 cops scream "What are you doing? stop now or I will shoot" I just said "oh shit" and ran the otherway. After dodging bullets, cops, pimps, hookers, robbers, druggies, drug dealers I went in to meet Fedge.
Once inside the building 21 squaters attacked us and killed Fedge and are probably eating his corpse right now. I took off, came home, uploaded my photos, made this location and thanked God I made it home alive.

By the time we arrived at Regent Park it was after 9:00 pm. There was pretty much no one outside as we made our way into the area. The people we did see were in fact just regular people - not drug dealing killah hookers and their psycho murdering pimps. In defense of Regent Park, it is hardly the horror story it's made out to be. Sure, bad things have happened here but so do they happen elsewhere too.
Before IanK1968 and I visited Regent Park, we checked out ye olde Foster homestead at 643 King Street in Oshawa. Ian's eagle eye caught this one, as I sped westbound on King. Despite the King address, it's actually accessed via Waverly Street. Here is what we found (no POE to be had, much to our disappointment). Note how at one point the Fosters put new wooden stairs over the old, original stone stairs...

Funny how this has ALREADY gotten more replies than my Harbourfront LRT or Irwin Toys topics did, and those two locations were FAR more interesting than this garbage dump.
Not to mention, both of my locations were not exactly easily accessible... But a few months ago, there was nothing stopping you from walking around this place. I don't even see how this classifies as a location.
