| | | To Whom It may concern: Splendid China is still around. In fact my son and I went there this weekend. Some of the small buildings have been torn up but all the large Buddua statues are still around including the great wall of china. We had a great time looking around. I was told by a Disney secuirty guard that Splendid China is getting bulldozed the ground this summer to make way for a housing deveoplment. So you better look at it before it's just a memory

| | | I know it's not exactly Central Florida but has anyone checked out Cooper City? I was just there recently and they have a LOT of abandon buildings. What I noticed in a good range view was a Win Dixie and a bowling ally. I am not too positive but I recall seeing a mall/strip mall also being for sale. I also noticed a lot of the area still has hurricane damage; it was still noticeable on the Sawgrass Mills Mall.

| | | As far a Splendid China goes. The security guard said they are going to start this summer, which means they will probably start this fall. When I went in there was some other families walking around as well. When I first saw them, it scared the crap out me, I thought it was the police. I think I scared them as well. We looked at each and waved and went our seperate ways. My son had a great time playing in the Rock forest.

| | | Posted by OptFlv I was out there just to scout it out a few weeks ago. Are those cameras active? That place looks awesome!

East fence near the water a tree has fallen on the fence. No cameras out back and even if they were in the front no one should be going in that way anyway.
It's all about the warehunt. |

| | | Down near Miami/Ft. Laud. A guy from Cooper City hit my car once.
I'm so awesome. It's kind of ridiculous, really. |
