Well no, it wasn't my story. And it's not my pictures. I didn't think it was important to tell you about that, nor give the photographer/cinematographer credit. But it's a cool story.
Be sure to remind me to tell you about that 1907 explore in Antarctica as well.
...In other words, this is:
1. A far departure from what I've come to this website for (i.e. reading/sharing stories of exploration/adventure you've embarked on, not some 2nd-hand account curated off the Intarwebs)...
2. A far departure from what I've seen as its norms (i.e. viewing/sharing photos of your own creation and ownership, not other's photos shared without their permission nor even attribution), and...
3. A dilution of what this site is about. Because if I was just interested in random accounts of general adventures from people not present here, I'd rather read an issue of National Geographic.
Edit: Guess I wrote this as this was being wrapped-up by the OP. But my opinion still stands. It's a full "WTF" from me.

I'm confused about this thread.
1. Why is it posted in Main and not in the proper regional forum? I vote for moving this.
2. Shipwrecks are cool and all, but your post is telling a story about a ship, with someone else photos, and not your story included at all. This is contrary to standard practice on this forum and isn't adding anything of value IMHO.
The whole thing doesn't sit right and I hope this doesn't become a trend.
.....not armchair quarterbacking someone else's explore.
