| | | Amazing pics !! I can't believe all the chalkboard are still full of lessons and writing. Almost seems like everyone went on lunch and never came back for years. Funny in my younger years, I just want to skip school and never come back.. now I want to go back to school to take pics... Err.. that came out wrong.. I"m not that creepy guy... lol.
EDIT: P.S. My math book never looked so new and clean back in my days. [last edit 11/11/2013 10:10 PM by Wong Guy - edited 1 times]

You're going to have to explain why you don't care. I don't know the location or if it was ever sensitive, but nobody likes a liability in the urban exploring community.

Jerm, since my post to you on Rash's thread was deleted but ties in with the above comments, would you care to answer me here as it seems quite pertinent. I will PM you the body of my previous (deleted) post so that you can adequately address the points that were brought up. If anyone cares to know what my post was about, in a nutshell: "Why are you still putting location names and info on public threads through a link to your blog? Don't you care about the locations or this community?" Previous post was censored by a mod and thus will not be reposted. [last edit 11/13/2013 5:29 AM by sQualie - edited 1 times]

I've known of this location for over 3 years now but it was alarmed and patrolled back then. A few friends have tried a few times over the course of those 3 years but had the same issues I did. It hasn't been accessible for long and should have been kept with a little (lot) more discretion, that's for sure.

| | | Yes, I am a a jerm X fanboy ... everyone knows that by now ... LOL ... And in all fairness, I think you have a very valid point. These locations ought to be respected and kept private for those who go in to explore, photograph, document and decay with dignity and pride. There are lots of people who's only intent is vandalism, finding a place to get high, etc. etc. However, from personal experience it was jerm X' blog, posting these exact places that got me interested in this hobby. If he hadn't done so I would have forever been locked out of these fun and addictive adventures. There was a time when I just followed jerm's "407 series" and follow in his footsteps. LOL So I guess posting the exact name is a double edged sword. On the one hand you attract unwanted attention from vandals, the city and developers boarding it up; and on the other hand people who are genuinely interested in seeing these places for themselves. I am a noob still so if there is something I don't understand please do advise. At the end of the day I am here to learn and shoot

| | | Re: It's time to take you back to school. <Reply # 19 on 11/13/2013 3:20 PM >
| | | Firstly, there are a number of explorers here that post names of locations on their websites, my blog just so happens to get more attention and traffic, which makes me a good scapegoat. And secondly, naming locations is not against the rules of UER. But straight up, in my opinion, these buildings deserve to have their stories told. The facts and rich histories are at the heart of the stories that I tell. I do not prescribe to the belief that scrappers and dick taggers are frequenting my blog to find locations to drive to and hit up...hell barely any of the so-called explorers appear to be doing that. While it seems many people get off on feeling like a part of some sort of secret society, holding onto secrets from the general public, that does nothing for me. These buildings are for everyone to enjoy, not just the people driven to explore them.
