I decided to make one last trek out exploring before it gets too cold and I go back into hibernation. Chance would have it that a Hamilton Explorer known as "Delusional" wanted to explore something and I had just the place in mind.

I have to give credit where credit is due, this location was found by Cyryn. If it wasn't for him - I'd never have known about it. After much discussion with other urban explorers I finally pinpointed where this beauty was and set off to see what it had in store. I was not expecting it to be as large, or as quiet as it was.

All in all it was a wonderful explore and I can't wait to see other people's photos from this location as I have a feeling it's going to become the new "location" for fall. Much as "She Died Lonely (credit to RockandRollFreak)" was last year And the "Ski Hill" (Credit to Intrinsic) was over the summer.

lol, I guess it would have been difficult to ask him directly since he's blocked all those who trashed him. Interesting though, I wasn't aware Cyryn had posted this publically on any site.

Anyway thanks for the mention, most people don't remember who first posted the ski hill to UER. (not that it matters, but people who give credit deserve credit)

Suffering through a few minutes of his youtube video was all I needed to pinpoint the location. Not to mention his online footprint gave a pretty clear area he likes to explore.

The location to become a UE tourist mecca, followed shortly by spray paint murals and the inevitable arsons and then plywood boards on all doors and windows.

I recall making the same prediction about the ski resort and sure enough... try as we might to keep from disclosing the name, someone always hears about it from another source. The ski resort was named on Facebook and it's fate was sealed.

This location so far hasn't been actually named, and one can hope only those with the best of intentions will end up visiting it. This thread is public though as is the Youtube video.

I gotta say...I dont get all the hype around this place..it actually looks pretty boring. Your pics are great Skye you've captured some great pics and you're developing a good eye!

I'd love to see more from the rest of the place before looping this in with the ski resort and my beloved cat lady house

Great post....I'm just cranky because I haven't had a good explore in a few weeks!

The open building isn't that exciting at all. The kitchen is neat & some of the pods that are decayed but it's a lot of the same stuff. This building was constructed in 1980 so the architecture is boring ass government design. The other buildings looked better.

Interesting architecture. This particular building does seem pretty boring, but it still looks like a good way to spend an afternoon. Go crack those other buildings!

Ill try and post my sub par window shots of the other buildings later on in the week. (Im on my phone right now and cant post pics.) They looked a lot more interesting. The second building was classrooms and the first one looked like meeting rooms or lecture halls or something of the sort.
