Well done little lady! Loving this place to death. Me wants to go and see an untagged location, ME WANTS!!

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

The two secondary buildings - Neither of which were accessible at the time of my visit. Looked like these might've had more character to them. Both were seemingly stripped bare though - nothing left on the walls, ceiling tiles removed, etc.

1. Looked like classrooms on the interior.

2. Filled with long empty rooms - more classrooms? Lecture rooms?

give it some time, someone will make a way in... it just takes time.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

I bet at least one of those windows are unlocked. If not, i'm sure a brick could unlock it.

Mmm yes, discussing break and enter in a publicly viewable thread. What could possibly go wrong here?

It gives a vibe off like the late August dying days of Summer or if we are going to be technical mid September when Summer is lost for good.

Good work.

I'm a supporter of gay rights. & not a closet supporter either. From the time I was a kid, I've never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community. There are so many qualities that make up a human being. By the time I get through with all the things that I really admire about people, what they do with their private parts is probably so low on the list that it is irrelevant. - Paul Newman

The sizes are rather close which cause the stripping, however Robertson doesn't "cam" out of the socket easily and works better with power drivers when the size is dead on.

Also, with a good fit, you can let go of your screwdriver on a horizontal screw and it will defy gravity, staying attached to the screw. I think hex bits are the only other common ones that do this. Not just trivial, this is useful in tight quarters that you can only get into with your non-dominant hand.

It's hard to believe that the place has remained in this condition since 1994. I guess that's what happens when you're located in the middle of nowhere.

I have not posted on this board since I was a bored teenager 6-7 years ago but this thread caught my eye. Some points of note: I had no clue who this 'Cyryn Fyrsyd' joker was but after sitting through a few minutes of his videos I had a rough geographical hunting ground. Some pointed google queries gave me a specific area for where he explores and Combining this with the information Skye posted about the college gave me the site name after about 15 minutes.

If this thread is not going to get marked private, I am thinking that it might not be the worst plan to remove the particularly identifying information from the top post.

In particular, if the years the college opened and closed are taken out or just changed to the decades and the college's specialization is removed I think it would discourage all but the most persistent internet sleuths from wasting their time on finding it. I know that those details made things much, much easier for me.

That being said I've not been a part of this community for a long time so I'm not sure how things are done around here. Still, I'd imagine this place has piqued enough people's interests that the trusted members will share this location amongst themselves anyway so controlling info about this site won't set them back.

In any case, I think I might have to make my first trip in a long time to check it out - taking nothing but photos and leaving nothing but footprints, of course.

I totally wrote that wrong. I meant they didn't strip as easily as a Phillips. Sigh.

Might be an idea. Myself and a few others went and checked the place out this past weekend. It took almost no effort for one person in our group to figure out where this place was, and the architecture is also distinct enough to give it away on Google Maps.

It'd be nice if this place could fly under the radar a bit longer, given the lack of vandalism.

That said, the mould here is ridiculous. Even with a respirator, there were places that I wouldn't go into just because of how much there was in one spot.
