it was recently suggested to me that i should check out this site. i lead group bike rides through storm drains in Fort Worth, TX. we start from Downtown, so i stick to about a 10 mi radius of there. we usually hit 2 tunnels per ride, and i try to connect them with alleys, rail road service roads, and construction sites as much as possible. they're definitely UE bike rides. if any of you are cyclist with an appropriate bike, you're welcome to come along. and either way, i'm happy to share the tunnels i have mapped out (9 that are big enough to bike in so far) and i'd love to see if there are any i've missed.

I'm up for this!

I have a BMX bike which I got strictly for smaller drains, but it looks like mountain bike works for your trips (?).

yeah, a MTB is good, although modified beach cruisers are common too. the rides are usually 12 mi +, and cover some loose sand at times, so i'm not sure i would recommend a BMX. i organize it all from a facebook page, you can find all the general ride details in the info section http://www.facebook.com/ch.u.fw we don't have a set schedule, but we usually have at least 1 ride a month during the summer. if you friend that page, you'll get invites to the rides.

This is quite wicked, I've heard of other folks doing this. I did this when I was young in the canal tunnels in Irving. Never really thought of doing it in the regular drains.

as promised, here's what i have. a couple of the tunnels may not be accurate, but the distance should be close. markers are entrances/exits. green is for the ones i ride, yellow are some i've spotted, but not explored yet. all of them continue on beyond my map, but this is what is rideable on a mountain bike. https://maps.googl...msa=0&ll=32.741371,-97.329597&spn=0.162292,0.338173

Nice map man. I just became aware of the Google maps tools yesterday. Looks like it could be pretty useful.

g-maps is way easier to use, but you can't change colors or add markers.
