I know it's very amateur-ish, as the visit was unexpected, we were just walking around for earth day and we spotted the building.
I only had a tiny little Sony Cybershot Digital Camera, but I guess that works too, right?
Details about the building: -About 11 stories, with basement -Seemingly abandoned since... some time ago -Under Renovation or Demolition (there was some construction stuff around)
Potential Hazards: -Asbestos (in some closed areas, with warning signs) -Falling Debris -Unstable Floor/Stairs -Pigeon Feces (y'know, possible 'Pigeon Lung')

I think they will tear that down for le quartier des spectacles .. no? (le quartier des spectacles for those who dont know means "the show/fest/spectacle district" where they do things like the annual jazz festival etc..)
Nice exploration, I dont know about the showing of faces though... you guys weren't doing anything really bad in the video, but a heads up... the police have arrested young guys here in montreal because of videos like these... except they were also showing themselves damaging things and tossing stuff off the roofs etc.. just the same, you may want to take precautions next time.

Thanks for the feedback! I was pretty dead tired when I posted this thread, I totally didn't see the 'UE Videos' category even if it was right under my nose -_-
Yeah I received a personal message form another UER member, talking about anonymity, to which I replied I didn't take it seriously (enough), so, for next time, I'm taking notes.
@CatandTie, I also take some pictures, but I'm more of a video-type of guy (Next time though I'll bring the proper camera and steadicam equipment) And yeah, I'll definitely post the videos in the proper section of the forums, embedded. Also, I'm testing out YouTube's 'Video Enhancements', especially the 'Stabilization' option. The jerky-ness is gone, the shots look super smooth, BUT, there are a few graphical artifacts at some points. Though I'll probably eventually edit the vid, the smoothness is amazing!
@Mewthree, Sweet, a Montrealer! Yeah, I don't know much about the building itself, but it looks like its gonna get demolished. It is indeed in Le Quartier des Spectacles, and to be honest, it really breaks the look of the district; All modern buildings and poof, some old, decaying building. Yeah, I took note of the anonymity, next time(s) we'll take it into account.

haha, I tried out the pixelize youtube enhancement a few days ago... not bad at all for what I needed it for! I didn't see the steady option but good to know that feature exists.
