Posted by AntiParadigm Productions I watch some people spend hundreds on these LED flashlights that have 50-75 lumens, and I just shake my head. I bought this flashlight from Dorcy for $25 on sale. 180 Lumen LED, it not only has a nice spotlight, but also a nice flood too. Lightweight, durable (dropped it on my grill once, and down a flight of stairs and it is still kickin) waterproof.... What else do you need? http://www.dorcy.c...lumen-4aa-led.aspx |
Posted by metawaffle Yes, but nobody strokes their Dorcy fetishistically and murmurs sweet nothings to it. |
Posted by kontour My main light when exploring is this:
A HDS Ra Clicky, its high CRI which I love cause it just gives you that little extra depth perception. Full user programability is also a plus. Its also practically indestructible. In a holster on my belt I have this:
The Olight M20 Warrior, no real reason, I just like the size and how it feels in my hand, plus it can also take a serious beating. In my pack I have this:
A Fenix TK40, for those times when only bringing out the sun will do! and this Which is my backup light, purely because I know it will never let me down. |
