skill will trump your crutchy snow tires any day.
consider this; you're talking to a guy who has been driving cars almost longer than you have been alive. You've never lived until you've tried to negotiate 6" of snow in a 5-liter Fox body on dinky little 14.5" TRX tires. been there done that.  The first winter I had my Cobalt SS i managed to get around on 18" Pirelli's...
Consider your audience before you make challenges that might make you look foolish. I think in all the cars I've ever owned, ONE car had snow tires on it and that was only because they were on the car when I bought it. I view snow tires the same way I view anti-lock brakes and traction control- as a crutch for having no driving skills.

You know my redneck ass has, in the snow, on bald tires. With no issues. Skill > gadgets any day. No one has said snow tires don't have their place, even the Nismo's of the world need to get to work on days with a heavy frost.
