Here's a pair of early ones, red one is a '58. I'm still after the red one. The crusty green one would would be a perfect parts car for it as it was almost complete.

I think it would have collapsed in a windstorm. I've driven some rusty VWs but this thing was a new level of rotten.

Two late 80s Fords at a strange abandoned house. It appears they were breeding or training dogs here, there was a kennel in the kitchen! There were a few horse trailers in the yard as well.

1972 Honda CB175 that had been sitting in a barn in Franklin, NC since 1974. Turns out it was my dad's in college, we hunted down the title and rescued it. It is currently sitting in another location on here with the owner's permission until I can get it back to my house in Charlotte to restore. 1.

Another abandoned bike I help rescue. A coworker bought a house and when doing some foundation work he found this '72 Harley Davidson M65S Leggero. It is a 65cc two-stroke bike built by Aermacchi - an Italian aircraft company- when Harley was owned by AMF - A bowling equipment and supply company. He knew I liked to wrench on sh*t and didn't want his kids asking him to get it running for them so offered it to me. As the Leggero was relatively rare stateside I hit a brick wall finding parts and it isn't worth the cost of having new ones made I ended up trading it mechanic and collector for work on (yet another) old bike. By the time I showed up to get it the coworker and his brother had already pulled it from under the house, so I only have pictures of it in my basement shop. 1.

I used to have a '73 CB360 that was quite similar to this- also a barn find.

Very Cool, I love those old hondas, I have a CL175 too and the first bike I ever rode was a friend's CB550 cafe racer. I still ride pretty much every day but on a much more modern and capable Kawasaki KLX dual sport.

my first bike was a 1973 Suzuki TC100 enduro... two-stroke and had been blown up so many times, it was almost punched out to a 175 (lol)... I rode the shit out of that bike. One of the interesting things I remember about it was that it was a 4/4 transmission. It had 1 thru 4 low range, pull the lever on the case and it went into 1 thru 4 hi range... When I had it, it was stuck in high range, but that never stopped it from climbing the mountains around here. I once got it out on the interstate (by accident) and it would only go about 55-60mph full throttle.
