Did you ask her if she was into the melted wax thing? lol that could be an entirely different photoshoot in itself hahaha. It's a great shot no matter what.

Actually, we attempted a wax pouring shot, but the lighting conditions didnt work out well for the action of it. But it was fun to try anyways!

I think the assumption in this forum is that the pictures herein will be of a more professional style and quality. Your pictures were fine, but not particularly artistic, and that's what this forum is aimed at. I think you may have overreacted a bit to the critique.
You've been here long enough, you should know that sensitivity is not a virtue on UER.

Ah gotcha... What lenses do you have? A 50mm/1.8 should do the trick if you get a bit closer for a macro type shot. I really wanna try this now haha.

Okay enough yelling, Reverend, I'm sorry you felt that my words were speaking down to you, I did not mean it in that way, and without any explanation I didn't know what camera you were using. I was simply trying to help you improve your technique and photos.

Yea, for those I was using the 50mm. One problem was that she poured the majority of the wax from the big candle on herself to see how hot it was, and when i was ready for the shot, there was none left to pour =(

Random RAW file that has been sitting on my desktop I finally decided to edit and now I really like how it turned out... something I did to it (on accident) ended up making her skin look like paint brush strokes kinda, not something I'd want to do for all my model pics but it doesn't look bad IMO
