Rightly done sir. And damn Aurelie, nicely done. The closest I've come to something like that is lying in the snow.

May I make some some suggestions on how to improve these images? Sure, great, let's go. Before you read further, let me just say that the following is my opinion and how I would shoot these particular scenes differently. Photo 1 - Have the camera facing head on, so that the railing cuts the frame diagonally, have the model leaning on the rail with both arms cross over it slight turn of course to show off curves, one light through an umbrella, to just soften her features, and give a nice warm glow.
Photo 2 - place the model on the desk (in the background of your shot), probably laying down on her back, arched, similar pose to the 2nd photo that e-photog posted above your post, light from the inside, just off frame aimed down on the model add a softbox or for a more harsher, grunge look, a grid snoot, and then frame through the window, while the camera is outside. Photo 3 - Pose is decent, bring the arms in a little more, keep the camera where it is, but zoom in, this would be a perfect head & shoulders shot. Light with a single light using a grid snoot to focus the light directly on the model's face.

What sort of feedback were you hoping for, if not the very thorough and helpful analysis provided by Axle? My bad. I was thinking this was the critique thread! Carry on.

You can see the reflection of the 1 big candle I had on the floor to better light her head , but I didnt wanna move the little ones cause they'd started melting all over that shelf by this time. Some ended up dripping on her =P

i thought this was a photo thread, not a bash on the non photographer thread. i thought i made it pretty clear im not a photographer, just another explorer with a camera. i understood what he meant by framing the shots different , but past that , its like chineese. i read what the man said, its just that i dont have a 600+ camera and light setup, nor the required knowledge to use such equipment. i have a 200 canon . it does what i want it to do , and does it well. you need to fuck off if you have nothing positive to contribute... dick.....

Okay. Let's keep it civil, people. This is a board for model photography, so it's reasonable to assume that the members are going to give photography-related critique/advice and/or state their personal opinions on the photos. You can't expect to post something and only receive positive feedback.

Listen here twat nugget, The subforum is called "UE Model Shoots", not "post your shitty point and shoot pictures of your busted girlfriend". This is for people who enjoy bettering themselves as photographers, and for people trying to learn about it. It stands to reason that we all know what ISO/Shutter Speed/Aperture is. If you come in here and just put up 3 shitty pictures without ANY explanation of what the fuck is going on, then you are going to get pissed on. It's like going to the flashlight subforum and talking about fucking glow sticks or matches.

Maybe you should learn proper grammar and punctuation first before trying to figure out the camera thing? That being said, there are plenty of photography books out there as well as tons of info online to be had if you know where to look that would be quite useful to help you learn.
