Where you will be forced to run a Gay bed & breakfast in the maple syrup belt!! And drive a Miata with a picnic basket tied to the trunk lid.

HAHAHA. I came up with the Vermont Innkeeper joke after falling asleep one very late night while watching Newhart reruns on WGN, since Samarui's worse nightmare is living in Vermont again. Plus, its a play on the ending of Newhart, where it all was a dream inside the Bob Newhart show.

i never lived in vermont. ever. i used my mother's mailing address to get tags for a car i bought. SHE lived in Bridport VT. I never did. Nor will I.

All stitched together to form a fine comedic quilt!!! BTW, I always thought Newharts wife was pretty hot!

We got our first one at the dealer today:
I'm impressed, it's only the V6 and it hauls ass. Looks nice, shifts like a way more expensive car, etc. Paint job is FUCKING GARBAGE... really inconsistant with the application, thickness really varies in spots, making panels look like they're a different shade. There are runs where the front fascia attaches to the front fenders, and bare spots above the grille (which you can only see if you look up). I guess they're probably slapping them together pretty quickly to meet demand, but if I bought one and the paint was like that, I'd be asking for a discount! Sweet ass car for $30k though!

ooo that interior is awful
| |
I think they kept the interior pretty true to the source material.
The personal responsibility train left the station years ago, and you gave it the finger as you watched it leave. | |

More so than this?

my parents had two 69 Camaros, one a Z28, the other a column shift 350... i LOVE the dash in the new car; It's a very cool interpretation of the original.

Maybe its just the picture but I still think it looks...weird. I guess I'd have to see how it looks lit up at night, before I pass any real judgment.

Add my name to the list, that's some cheap ass looking puffed up plastic, at least it looks bad in the photo. Retro cars are a semi cool at best idea. They are grasping at past coolness, will never really be their own vehicles. The New Beetle seemed to be the starter. An okay exercise. The new Mini, again, okay, nothing to get excited about. Of the three new muscle car remakes, the Dodge looks the best, but that's just the surface. The Chev grill is trying too hard to look menacing, yawn, oh plastic is so tuff, I'm so intimidated seeing you in my rear view mirror. Ooops sorry my about my spasm and hitting the brake while you lick my rear bumper. Oh well, pick up your pieces and go by a metal car. Just kidding folks!, but really let's not bet the farm on these luke warm remakes. Designers: Get a clean sheet of paper and think for yourselves already. Detroit is trying to cash in on retro success, instead of looking ahead. We need visionaries, not accountants in charge.

well, gee whiz. instead of sitting here on an internet forum, maybe you should fly your visionary ass to detroit and tell them what you think.

Sorry, but VW needed to reintroduce the Beetle... they put the engine in the wrong end, but whatever, I absolutely love my car. The '05-'09 Mustang is the best looking car Ford has built since 1970, the Challenger is the best looking car Dodge has had since 1971, etc, etc, etc.

when Ford introduced the Bullitt package for the Mustang, well, that was the shit. Dodge needed to introduce a Kowalski special for the Challenger... I mean, come on, how many people ordered their new Challenger R/T in white? hehehe The Camaro looks much better in person than I was expecing. I was worried that the car would have that 'ass fatness' that the prototype had. I still love the interior... it makes me think it's 1969 all over again.
