Atomx and I are parents again!!
Alexis Grace Thomas January 3rd, 2008 7lbs 3oz Delivered by C-section @ 7:40am
I wasn't scheduled for the C-section until Jan 7th, but ny water broke early, and here she is! Don't mind the crappy picture, I'm recovering from the section/tubal ligation and a little bleed I had during surgery... so I am a bit puffy and that's a fake smile... lol

Way to go Squidgit! My best to all of you!
I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread. |

I thought about a new thread for this, but I figured it was a waste of resources this my question is kinda related to this thread. Like you (squidgit) my wife and I are gonna do the elective c-section. My question is whats the usual hospital stay for a C-section? Im sure its different from woman to woman, but I wondering what the average time has been for anyone on here who may have experienced this, or knows someone who has.

For my first C-section (and first baby) I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. I did have a bit of bleeding issues, but overall they just wanted to make sure everything was A-OK and I was up and walking fine. This time around, I stayed for 2 days, and that was with me asking my doctor to go home. He would of kept me for at least another day. So overall? I would say 3-4 days maybe on average, but you are right... it would be different from woman to woman

I hope you guys are getting a good nights sleep. If our baby is like me, we will be up all night, and if like her, it will sleep 20 out of 24 hours.
