My second child

Well here is the announcement I've been waiting for....

On August 2, 2007 at 08:39 my second child was born. She is a healthy little girl at 6lbs-15 ounces and 20.5" long. She was born by C-section and everything went well, almost. I'm bad with needles and when they went right through my wife's vein and out the other side, I fainted.... and almost got sent downstairs to emergency!

Anyway, her name is Ainslie and we just brought her home. It has been 'interesting' with our 27 month old Ashleigh. She seems to be happy sometimes about her little sister, and upset at other times. We had Daddy-Daughter time alone this afternoon, and she has been better since then. She was especially happy when her new little sister brought presents for her to the hospital. We also put the baby to bed early tonight and told our other daughter that she was allowed to stay up later because she is the 'big girl' and that the stinky, whiney, drooly baby would have to go to bed early.

Well, I just wanted to share our new daughter with all my friends here, so I'm going to go now and do any number of tasks my wife requests of me right now, LOLhttp://

Wow, congratulations!

I have 2 girls also. Ages 3 and 5, soon to be 4 and 6. My, how the time flies! I remember going through the same thing when I brought home my youngest... My oldest was very happy but a bit jealous and acted out in different ways. I still have to give them mommy time individually, but its well worth it. Its so sweet having two little girls.

Again, congrats!

Awww congrats!

I'm hoping for another girl myself, but we shall see how it goes!

Hope momma and baby are doing well...

Good luck!

Salutations!

I have two boys, and it gets more and more interestingly funny as they get older. Have fun, and enjoy every moment!
