So there I was looking up at the two members of the SeaOrg Security team as they got out of their SUV. Within a blink of the eye they both drew guns on me.

HANDS ON YOUR HEAD!

Shit and fuck I thought, are these motherfuckers for real?

HANDS ON YOUR HEAD!

FUCK AND CHRIST! My hands go on my head, I’m on my knees. The cuffs go on. Hard. The first bastard I got away from catches up, still out of breath. I guess running isn’t an upstat activity. They start asking me questions right away:

Why did you run? What’s your name? Where do you live? Give us your address. What do you do for a living? Who are you working for? DO YOU WORK FOR THE MEDIA? DO YOU WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? Where’s your ID? Where do you live? What’s your social security number? You know you have to give that to us. We’re making an arrest. Get in the car. GET IN THE CAR! GET IN THE CAR! We just want to know a little more about you. LOOK IF YOU DON”T GET IN WE’RE CALLING THE POLICE! We can settle this; make it good for everyone. Just get in the car. ALL RIGHT GOT HIM!

Somewhere during that they took my camera, which had some scantly clad pictures my (now) ex on it. “Where is my camera?”

You must have lost it when you fell down the cliff.

You didn’t see that.

Look, we’re a rich organization; we don’t need your camera. We could buy lots of cameras. What would we need your camera for?

They take me up to the main gate. It had smaller more recently installed cameras pointed at it. Still handcuffed they shove me out of the car. What seemed like log cabins turned out to have reinforced metal doors with dead bolts. They swiftly unlocked it revealing a white painted cinderblock hallway with tan linoleum floors. They had been recently waxed. The two guards yanked me through the fluorescent hallway and into a three by five room with an undisguised two-way-mirror. They left me there for over an hour while I was coughing my lungs out cuffed to a folding chair.

They Barge into the room:

WE JUST FINISHED THAT FLOOR! WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOU TO COURT FOR DAMAGES! WE KNOW THAT WAS A FAKE NAME YOU GAVE US! Now, what’s your real name? No, we know that that one is also false. Give us your real name and we’ll let you go. We’ll let you use the restroom when you tell us your real name.

I gave it to them. Ten minutes later they came back in to begin the interrogation.

It will come. Perhaps later tonight if I get some other work done. I have a flier to make for an event in which I plan to cut a piano in half, and I still have to go running.

Wait a minute...security goons affiliated with a whacked 'religion' drew weapons on you and forced you into a car? Is that the story?

Yes. I don't want to fuck with them after that though. I shant go after legal action. They held me for two hours while I was coughing up my lungs after running like hell at high altitude. I'll continue with the story.
