1) Depends on the shop, your connections to non-professional piercers, your willingness (foolishness?) to Do It Yourself, provide your own jewelry or buy it at the shop, etc. 2) It's personal. What may hurt me may not be painful for you. All but one of my pierces felt like a sting. That other one was done with no clamp/forceps, slowly, freehand, and it felt like someone doing a not-so-good job of trying to insert an IV. (I've never had a nipple pierce) 3) Again, personal. I think you've read one or 2 reports of them healing quickly. I have a friend who's nipple(s?) didn't heal well for over a year and he took it (them) out.

So, where is the obligatory "If you get your nipples pierced you're going to have to post pics?"

That was the fault of her own dumb ass not removing it as soon as she noticed it was being rejected

Posted by Miss Jan I actually have a question about nipple piercings. I want to get one myself maybe next year or when im 17 or something. Let's say I decide to have a kid one day... would that effect my piercing because of breastfeeding. I know I can take it out, but wouldn't it irritate the piercing?

From what I read, the milk doesnt come from a hole. But it the tissue I guess is made so that it oozes out of it. I guess through some sort of osmosis or something.

Source:BMEZINE Does anyone know if there ever been any studies to see if nipple piercing on a girl will affect the ability to breast feed in later life? I want mine done but I want to breast feed when I have kids. Emily i don't know of any medical studies, but there have been enough real life instances to prove that it won't be a problem. even the science of the situation shows that you shouldn't have problems. the piercing goes through one point, the mammary glands exit the breast through several points (since there are several mammary glands). Right, unless there was a lot of scarring it would restrict a small ammount at most. I don;t think it's quite osmosis. More like a series of small capillaries providing more than one outlet.

1.) Where I went to get my nipples pierced, they costed $50 dollars each separately, or you could get them both at once for $85. I got both of mine done separately about 3 years ago (didn't have the money to get them done at the same time). Most piercers in my area or in Toronto charge roughly about the same prices. These prices are quoted with having to get the jewellry from the piercer. If I had my own jewellry, the prices go down about 10 bucks. 2.) It's different for everyone, but mine didn't hurt that much. Just a small pinch. My daiths were way worse in pain factor than my nipples. Even my genital ones didn't hurt. 3.)They're not hard to care for. I had to do simple sea salt soaks for a few weeks with my nipple piercings.

nipples are one of the most painful things to stretch, i used to have a 4 guage, but it hurt for too long i went back to an 8. and to answer the question of does it hurt, believe it or not it hurts males about 3 times as much as females. and it will cost anywhere from 80-100 depending on the shop

I got my right nipple done about 2 years ago... It didn't hurt to get it done, but it sucked for a few days afterward and even more when i went cliff diving a week or so later, yikes. Oh an yea it cost me 45$, but i tipped my piercer 5$.. I dunno if you're supposed to tip them but i did anyway. I always do because he does a great job and yea, I'd like to keep the guy sticking needles through my body happy. It rocks though, made it super sensitive, sets me off when me somebody touches it. Lol, and it's constantly hard, my friends make fun of it sometime, lol. Sometime in the next few months I'll get the other one done. It's about time...

lmao I remember when I saw that at Opex and I was like no way we have the same thing done.. everyone I know has both.. I know it's stupid but it made me laugh when I saw it = )

Haha yeah, when I originally got it done I didn't know if I'd like it or not so I figured I'd just get one. As much as I love it, now I think I'll be staying with just one for awhile, since it seems to me like two would be too much. I'm working on getting rid of my gut and chest fat, when that's gone I'll probably go for it.

I had both of mine done at the same time several years ago. My nipples were very sensitive before and they have become even more sensitive after. Before piercing, people could always see my nipples through most all of the shirts I would wear. So, now they can also see that they are pierced. I generally do not get any comments, but on occasion someone wants to see. Nipple piercings are quite excellent. I highly recommend them! 1. Mine cost me about $80 cash to get both at the same time several years ago in Tampa, including hardware. 2. The first one didn't hurt too much, but the second one was way more intense! I nearly jizzed in my shorts on the second one. I was tripping on endorphins for the next day, and they were quite tender for about a week. 3. Easy to care for. Just keep them clean.

Just joined. How did I miss this? I've got both nipples pierced, had them done roughly a year ago. Saw a piercer here in Rochester and had both done for $55. They healed well, and Dial Antibacterial liquid soap was my best friend. I've always had pretty big nipples for a guy, and now my nipples are a little bigger and have 8ga circular barbells. Some people notice, but I think most choose to ignore it. They've only once gotten in the way while exploring, when I was shimmying under a chain link fence and they caught briefly.
Me goin' legit would be like JarJar on speech therapy. I'm on Flickr now! My Flickr Stream | I'm about as thick as a Bryk. |
