not good, just embarrassing. few years ago i was heading back home after a good amount of hours doing some backwoods trail riding. no falls. came around the corner on the street at my apartments, wiped out going about 2 miles an hour infront of a car full of attractive ladies...

had to give them the "i'm a loser but i'm ok" wave.

Yeah, today I was riding my bike through this kind of sketchy back ally way with steel cable and cinder blocks/parking blocks on my way to school. A steel cable was sticking up and got wrapped around my pedal. Before I knew it I was on the ground, I went over the handle bars.

No serious injuries just a scraped hand and bruised knuckle.

Shut the fuck up and ride that fucking Couchmobile!

I tried to make a 90-degree high-speed right turn from a descending paved road onto a dirt path; needless to say, I oversided it onto my left arm.

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop...

Well no pics of it but I almost and I mean ALMOST!!! Got ran over by a bus on Rideau when biking away from Parliament and I just passed Sussex and the road was wet, the pedestrian crosswalk turned yellow so I applied my front break and I lost control as I was in the bike/car lane and I slid into the bus lane with a bus coming 50 kph at me, it stopped just a couple inchs of my head.

So I almost died lol

Lesson of the day: Never apply front brakes on a slight hill when it is wet. At least with the rear brake you won't lose as much control.

I almost got nailed by some dickhead yuppie the other day, causing me to almost wipe out, but lucky for me, my superior biking skills manage to keep me upright, and since he went right into a red light, I was able to sit in front of him for about thirty seconds into the green light

Biking in Chicago is awesome.

Sounds like biking in Kansas City. People actually believe that it is illegal to ride your bicycle in the street. (And apparently that if you do it is perfectly permissible to run over you, because they actually try) I mean, when they are not actively trying to kill you, they get verbally abusive and tell you to get on the sidewalk (which *is* illegal, as far as I know). I don't think they have any idea what the laws actually are regarding bikes.

Of course, there is one guy who lives around here who will honk his horn and flip you the bird even if you are walking on the sidewalk and in no way incoveniencing him. It's like he thinks there is no place in the world for pedestrians and that they should all go away, apparently.

1. Was riding down a street and some bitch sideswiped me. I rolled off her hood and tore her car up. She cracked the window and asked if I was ok. I said I think so and she sped off...Cops say I gave her permission to leave the scene.

2.Pouring rain and making a delivery to a far away hotel. Decided to take this public walkway park that has stairs and ramps. Well a wedding party was on the handi-cap ramps so I decide to take the stairs. Well I forgot my brakes do not work when there wet......So I hit 8 steps at full speed and slammed so hard it sprained my wrist and snapped the back fork weld clean off.

Note-I am one of those crazy bike messenger/delivery guys that weave in and out of traffic like maniacs xD..

Last close call

-Some pimped out Chrysler was merging into me so I kicked his car and put a massive dent in it. He just kept going and never looked back hahaha
