It is with the biggest sadness of my life to post this. Rich and Becca Whiddon passed away yesterday, they were struck by a drunk driver in Bristol, PA. While not too active on UER, Rich did have an account, Anatonic. They were both known on IG as Anatonic and trickrtreatt. I first met them in 2013 and was very close with them for a number of years. Traveled nearly 25 states with them and two Canadian provinces. So many memories. Anyone who knew them will tell you the impact they had on their lives. Check in on your friends today, you never know when it can end. Rest in the sweetest peace <3

That's an incredible loss man... I came to post the same but ill let you do it since you knew them more than me.
Ive been friend with Rich for at least a decade now and i had so much respect for him and was looking up to his work. I met him first in 2022 when he attended Urbexmalt with Becca in Montréal, 2 wonderful and nice persons. They came back last year in september and it's the last time i saw them. I wish we done it when we said we'd explore together.

No way! That's so fucked up. Sad news indeed. Never met either of them . But have known them online for a long time.

So unbelievably sad, I had the pleasure of meeting/chatting with them on two occasions and they were both the sweetest people, and so friendly. I last saw them in September 2023 and told them about my recent trip to Hudson and how I didn't get to see as much as I wanted. They told me to let them know when I return and they'll spend a whole day with me there. I was going to take them up on that offer this year. This is a huge loss and my heart goes out to all the people who knew them so well, all of the tributes have been very touching.

Hi Kurt, is it okay if I use your comment & photo from your OP for my urbex tribute page? I don't really put it out there much or chase followers - it's just a place to remember explorers no longer with us. >here is a link< Thanks & once again, sorry for your loss. Doug

Glad you made a post. I was actually going to make one, so thanks. I literally have no words. I hope the trash that hit them rots in hell for the rest of his life.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking two of my favorite people for sure.

I've archived this at the request of people close to Becca & Rich as the media are circling. I'll put it back up when given the OK.
