Just came across this and all I can say is WOW! Looking at moving to Colorado in about a year, probably around Trinidad. Two sites I have been looking at and trying to make an offer on has remnants of a mining town and what I think was the main entrance to the mine. Obviously, blown up shut but hey, excavators don't cost that much to rent !

That is cool as hell! If you do move here lets grab a drink some time! It is rad as hell that you might get some land with mine workings on it! Some of the other mine explorers here have some knowledge about digging through into forgotten mines so It would be great to talk more!
