The last one is so true. I've been to many track events and watched laughable cars destroy cars that cost six figures and then had another pile of money invested in them.
And the Evo vs. Corvette one, well, you know how I feel about Corvettes.
(Although the Evo probably still lunched a connecting rod at idle.)

That first one I found on FB the morning after we got pulled over by local cops for the Volvo blasting a massive fireball out of the exhaust while we passed them. They came up to the car and it wasn't "License and registration" or "Do you know why I pulled you over?". It was "Sooooo.....what all do you have done to this thing?" No tickets, no warnings, cop probably was impressed to see a Soccermommobile with a vocal BOV and shooting fire .
