Exactly what it says on the tin. I moved to Madison, WI about two months back, and have done a bit of exploration on my own. Is there anyone else who explores in or around this city?

Clocktoberfest is happening this weekend. Galena, Illinois isn't too far from Madison...

Come visit Milwaukee

Welcome to Madison. There isn't a lot of abandonment to explore in the immediate area due to the rising property values and construction. But I have seen plenty of people climb the cranes or explore the UW-Madison tunnels. I'm always around town if you're interested.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I wish I could visit other cities, but my only means of transportation are the public bus system and my bicycle, and Milwaukee's a bit of a far ride. As such, my range is rather limited. As for the cranes and tunnels, both are places I've been keeping an eye on. What about the storm drain system? Is that safe? I've seen raccoons climbing in and out of the grates, so getting stuck in a small space with a territorial animal is a concern.

Hi and welcome! There are a few doable drains in Madison but nothing spectacular. They're safe as far as I know as long as it isn't raining of course and if you can actually catch up with a raccoon in one I'll be pretty surprised. Madison also doesn't have much in the way of abandonments but there are a couple. Access is spotty at best. Really there are two things Madison has going for it. Lots of cranes (though never very tall) and sexy explorers. Get in good with the locals and you'll have a chance to carpool to a lot of fun places and events.

It's his penis.

Just a word of warning: Orangedrink is creepy as hell so you might want to bring ome kind of protection if you meet up with him.
I want to be different. But I want to be different just like everybody else, because if I really were different, everybody would think I was crazy and weird. Iowa is Minnesota's bitch. There's an art to pooping. |

Just started Urbexing Sunday with my first trip. Located about mid way between Madison and Milwaukee feel free to PM if you maybe want to meet up for an explore!

I love in Madison. Always traveling out of town to disc golf and do a little urbex. If anyone's ever down, hit me up!

Simultaneous... onesomes? How... You know what, I'm not sure I even want to know.
