Masonic Temple downtown Toronto, was built in 1917 and approved by the Board of The Masonic Temple Company. The hall became a popular concert hall and was home to Led Zeppelins first ever Toronto concert in 1969. I slipped in between ownerships when the building was sold to an IT tech company, I poked around and explored the building while they had a corporate meeting to show the staff the new location. EDIT - Forgot the coolest bit of info, the pool table in the last pic was bought by Mick Jagger when The Stones used the space to rehearse for their Bridges To Babylon Tour. He decided to just leave it there when they were done 1.

A bit hard to see, but that orange thing on the right is a bleached fuel container (I'm pretty sure, at least). How about... given what weekend it is, how about "something from a soldier."
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |

The Seoul City Government tried to destroy City Hall, built during the Japanese occupation in 1926 (ancient in Korean terms), without warning so heritage agencies wouldn't interfere. The Cultural Heritage Administration stopped them in mid-demolition in this state. Later that central annex was totally destroyed, and "rebuilt" as an underground chamber. The rest of the building was gutted and turned into a public library and is quite nice now.

Posted a few months back in the cars thread, but here's what I believe was a stolen Mitsubishi Eclipse, found in a dilapidated shed in an abandoned quarry. Half the paint was buffed out, all identification markers were stripped, and the front bumper was ripped out. My guess is that someone stole it and tried do a homemade chop shop job on it, but damaged something trying to remove serial numbers on engine parts. Then, they spiked the owner's manual through the windshield.
Let's see some abandoned police- related stuff.

This is actually the motto for the police department in this town haha
How about "pop of color"

Not literally a picnic, but we set up to perform a Korean funerary rite in an abandoned apartment for Ninjalicious on the tenth anniversary of his death. His spirit would have gotten a taste of some exotic foods and I fed my younger friends some trash oriental medicine liquor I found at the curb. You can see a copy of Access All Areas on the table with Ninjalicious written in Chinese characters.
Next: an abandoned (not lost) object that's so modern, you're surprised somebody left it behind.

Virtual reality screens in a suite which at the time of this explore were only four years old, and were only used for two years prior to the building becoming abandoned.
