Here's something with no wheels
How about a picture taken on the roof of an abandoned building
|
|
Here's an abandoned roof I got stuck on.
Let's see a rainbow, real or just a painting or something.
|

This first shot was taken in Platte City, MO in about 2005. I happened to see it as I was getting out of my car (not exploring, just coming home from somewhere or another), and I grabbed my one time use Kodak camera and started shooting. Recently, I converted many of my film pics to digital, this is one of them. 1. These pics were taken this last summer with my Canon SX-100, while exploring in West Virginia. 2.
3. Okay...let's see an abandoned building (or buildings) covered (and I mean COVERED) in kudzu and/or Spanish moss.

This is the closest I could find, but it's been a while, so I'll add it:

How about a photo of your favorite location that no longer exists or is no longer accessible (it's been demolished/repurposed/etc)?
I wandered till the stars went dim. |

Seoul Hotel, first time I used traditional masks in photography.
Next: flowers and abandonments

I hope you drank plenty of that booze!

This is the best I could come up with for "flowers and abandonments," but I don't want this thread to die!
The Blues by Dee Ashley, on Flickr How about a photo shot from way up high (a crane or a rooftop or anything with a bird's eye view).

How's this? Not quite the very top but still pretty high. This was on top of a massive piece of mining equipment in Germany, once the largest land-based vehicle on Earth.
Let's see some vintage industrial equipment! Either a control panel, motors, turbines, whatever!

Here's part of a really old turbine at a saw mill's power plant.
Let's see something growing inside an abandonment.

The "largest land-based vehicle on earth?" That's pretty cool. I daresay even worth a few bragging rights!
