Once re-visited the first house I explored and a friend pointed out the bathtub. Full to the brim of weird black sludge liquid. First thought I had was decayed... something. The end of Silence of the Lambs came to mind.
Second was a spinal column I found at a park picked clean by vultures. It was for sure a deer or something similar, but of course when I first spied it... it did look eerily human from a distance.

I found a legit human skull before. It was in the storage room of an abandoned school on a shelf full of science stuff so I wasn't worried that we accidentally stumbled onto a decapitated murder victim.1.

I am still somewhat on edge about finding someone in some of the mine shafts I go through even though I know they have been picked thoroughly. Not only would they make a decent place to dump a body (the inner workings are constantly eroding and collapsing), but awhile ago there was reason to believe a missing woman's body was in one of them around my area:

Anyways to answer OP's question, I'd probably just make sure I wasn't carrying anything illegal (weapon, B&E tools, or drugs) then inform the police. They generally aren't very nasty toward people who tremendously help them develop a case and cooperate.
Reason I wouldn't just leave is that there would probably be evidence of me being there, as ninja I'd like to think I am. Being that the body dump site would itself be a crime scene it would stand to reason that the police would likely want to scourge the area for information of who has been there. That and they can generally identify people who try and tip anonymously. Just better off coming clean and not hindering a case. Oh, and don;t forget to get some radical pictures before they show up!

Personally I think you need to contact the authorities. We did in this case. There were a lot more bones, but something had gotten to the body and clearly torn in asunder.

Most I've found was the skeletal remains of a fisher and I'd like to keep it that way! Not much scares me but I'm sure my gf who sometimes comes with would insta puke and faint lol

Found a cremation urn full of human ashes inside a derelict house I explored earlier this year, thankfully that's all I've found.

It's certainly not uncommon based on all the responses here!
At one of the first properties I ever explored, I stumbled across a small entrance to a morgue that previous explorers had yet to find. It was about as dusty and creepy as you would expect, but a few bones of human size and proportion were on a metal table and some littered the floor. Thankfully, I have never come across anything more than that! Some of those pictures are a bit horrifying.
