I don't think I could even buy a new car because I just couldn't deal with the immediate depreciation . Unless its something I plan to keep forever.

when I buy a new car, i don't give a shit about depreciation. I want something with 0 miles on it, full warranty and I don't have to fuck with it for the foreseeable future.

I prefer to buy good cars, where warranty just doesn't matter.

3 new cars, tons of mileage and what problems have I really had... 0.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt coupe... bought it 6/2005.
issues: radio, headlight switch (replaced under warranty)
traded at 49,000 miles

2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC coupe... bought 9/2006
issues: clutch linkage retainer, sway bar link bushings (replaced under warranty)
traded at 114,000 miles

2012 Chevrolet Cruze 1LT sedan...bought 11/2012
issues: none. mileage: 9887

i cannot complain at all... even with my used Chevrolet's I really didn't have issues with them. My 98 Cavalier was so trouble-free, it was almost scary. Even my 98 Lumina was mega-low maintenance. I like that.

See I'm different, I don't mind fixing shit once and awhile. And most of the time when I'm tired with a car and go to sell it I get my money back plus some.
