I seem to remember my cousin Mark's family's AMC wagon having the joy of simulated woodgrain tape as well as my great gramma's 76 Pinto Country Squirt, er Squire wagon.
And Splumer... i've been to the plant at Lordstown. Most of my Cavaliers, two Cobalts came from that plant.
There's a sweet abandoned motel not 5 miles from there! It's in the database.

Congrats indeed, nice car, major win on the financing. Happy motoring for many years, and thanks for your good advice on here I don't always acknowledge.

i stopped at the dealership where I bought my Cruze to pay the NY registration. My Cobalt had already gone to wholesale.
it's weird, we talk about cars here as if they're merely objects (and to an extent, that's what they are), but when sometimes you go through so much with one car that it seems almost a crime when you abandon it at a dealership for another car.

Sorry, just miss my Cobalt a little.
Dude, they have character, personality. They are with us during the best and worst of times. It's equal to how folks thought about horses way back. It's your trusty steed.
when they towed away the sunfire back in 2010 it was heartbreaking seeing her get dragged up on the flatbed with no wheels. that car got me to cleveland, detroit, toronto, albany and all over vermont.
350 000kms on her, i know what its like to watch a car go, same went with my dads grand prix, i drove it 3 years after he died(he died at the wheel of that car), but when the head gasket went it was too much to fix considering the age of the car.
