Absolutely LOVE Gilbertville bridge. Been out there many different times.
I've seen almost every covered bridge in New England and that one is still my favorite.
I used to travel every fall to specific ones for the last dozen years just to try and photograph every one of them in
Mass, New Hampshire, Vermont etc...
Here's a few I took out at Gilbertville last year.
We blocked the whole bridge from anyone trying to get by.
We were SEVERELY hungover and didn't really give a fuck.
Dicks we were  But the people around were very cool about it.
Some even asked if their kids could get in front of the cars for a pic,
so that was neat.
Took this pic in 2004 when you couldn't even drive on the bridge. They had barriers in front......
