Hey all!
So I'm finally working through a backlog of photos and I just finished editing this batch. This building used to be a research center for a company which designed office furniture but they moved out in 2010 due to the recession. Today the building sits empty but is well-maintained as it awaits its next owner. The full-story plus pictures can be found on my blog here: https://jqsurbex.w...steelcase-pyramid/ (shameless plugging right there...) Anyways, I won't ramble on longer than necessary so please enjoy!

Atrium

Temporary Stairs

Every Building

Industrial Skyline

Temple

That's all for now; I hope you enjoyed looking!

DAMN these are awesome

I love the second one and the shot of the blueprints!

What a NICE building! NICE shots too! Love the modern Architecture. Surely someone will grab this place up another research Co., doctor or lawyer space. Good job on these!

Very unique building and architecture! I love decay, but it's a nice break to see a pretty much pristine building every once in awhile. Great job with this one man!

Thanks!

Nice section. That'd take a hot minute to hand draw.

Haha I know! Every drawing there was done by hand since the building was constructed before the age of computers. Pretty crazy when you think about it!

Super satisfying shots, solid stuff.

Much appreciated!

Great work with these!

Thanks, it means a lot!

Thanks! And yes, I'm sure someone will grab this building up sooner or later. There was a charter academy that was going to buy the building. We were told they had a great plan for using the building but the financial plan wasn't of the same caliber...

I love decay, but it's a nice break to see a pretty much pristine building every once in awhile. Great job with this one man!

I completely agree. Decay is great but every so often a pristine, well-kept building is worth checking out! I should mention that we got permission to explore this place because of how well-cared for it is. They even turned the pendulum on for our visit!

That place looks like it was built by a race of bureaucratic aliens.

Amazing shots!

This is all I can say about that...

Incredible set! Love the minimal range you took. How incredible was that mechanical room though?! I'm always amazed at that level of engineering

Were those sound dampeners?

Thanks! Didn't actually realize how symmetrical some of these were until I was editing them.

It was pretty impressive. I haven't seen any massive abandoned industrial sites in my day (yet), so this was probably the closest I've been. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint!

Were those sound dampeners?

Haha posted at the same time! Yes, those were sound dampeners. The floor was carpet, however, so this room was one step away from the completely soundproof ones that have a metal cage on the floor with more dampeners beneath it.
