huge multi story building. It Kinnnnnda caught on fire while I was there. Something about Flares in dark stairwells and basements and flammable hobo debris. I could have escaped but the person I brought could not. Had to wait on a 2nd floor roof until the fire department and their 10 trucks showed up.

Followed by a police helicopter.


Also almost got spotted by an air ambulance while up a crane once...but didn't get caught, just a close call.

I've never really been caught by cops or security but did have a worker of a neighboring business run up on me. We were scouting a spot and he must've seen us on his buildings cameras so came to us and asked why we were taking pictures. We just said it looks cool and he told us to wait there. Needless to say, we booked it out of there.

Damen Silos, man. Security knows every move. Dude was already yelling at us telling that he called the police and we'd better not run. We weren't even on the property. But of course, one of my friend's is daring enough to make his way into places. Eventually we get caught up with this homeless guy from underneath the bridge who has a scythe and was yelling that he'll kill us. (pretty sure that's a threat and should be reported...)

Eventually we walk away after 20 minutes of wasting time, no show for cops. As we look back, homeless and security be talking with each other. Like what... don't tell me that homeless did isn't actually homeless.

I was joking

Didn't get caught, but two close calls. First one:
Hopped into a huge abandoned factory in upstate NY. Side gate in the fence was unlocked, so I figured what the hell, opened it up, went in and shut it behind me. Only guy that saw me go in was a truck driver, and I figured he wouldn't care. About 10-20 minutes into the explore, a buddy I went in with rushed up the stairs and says there's a cop car outside. I'm like nah its fine he must just be parked there, he won't come in. I was wrong.

I hear the squawk of a radio, and 2+ flashlights flashing around the warehouse-type area we had just been through. It's our only way out. We decide to just wait it out. For whatever reason, they choose a different path. Everything is quiet for a while. We chose to go ahead and risk it, just get out. Right outside our POE, there's 3 cop cars, one of which is a county sheriff. No cops in sight. We walk right past their cars and get the hell out of there.

Story 2 (much shorter): Headed into an abandoned country club main building late at night, see two flashlights flashing around the attached golf course (which is still active) and hear some low voices. They were headed our direction. Decided to send it, went into the clubhouse anyway. Quickly went as deep into the building as we could, didn't hear anything. Had a full night of exploring, and left without seeing them again.

I guess I've just had good luck so far.

Having to hand myself in or get a arrest warrant issued for me.

After tripping alarm with a castle under restoration. 6 of us got out and escaped walking back to the cars up a back track. The others where behind me and a friend chatting away about stuff. I heard the low tone of a Landrover engine to the side of the track was was 5 foot high ferns i rolled into them the guy who was behind me seen what i did. He didn't know why but had learned that if i went so should he, so he did without asking.

It was a Ghillie(Gamekeeper) who followed them back to their cars blocked them in till police arrived and them all got arrested. Taken off to regional hq and held in Cells for 5 hours and charged.

After a day of avoiding police who were roving around traveling to the nearest town to get the Bus then a train to where i had parked my car 3 hours away. Got a call from one of the guys arrested saying i hand the other boy had to hand ourselves into a officer at a local police station the following day, or the arrest warrants would be issued. Asked how they new when we got away .

Someone told them we had got away by the looks of it.

Very picky about who i explore with and how many people i go out with.

Only time in 12 years exploring that's happened.

won't happen again, know who you explore with and have a plan for every eventuality i always have plans for shit going sideways

I have so many questions.

Last time I went to Six Flags was with my Specter group. We were literally almost to the fence by the entrance with the sign when the security passed by. He saw us, but I didn't see him. I was currently switching my memory card with that of one I filled with shots that clearly place my well outside of the park. This lapse in awareness came only because I had other eyes. Anyway, we slip out before his vehicle came back into view. He stopped us and...

Security: Ya'll just came out the park?

Me: Nah.

Security: I just seen ya'll.

Me: No, you didn't.

He crimped his mouth at me, said "aight" and did a u-turn real fast while seeming to pull out a flip phone. We started walking a little quickly towards the less-than-savory neighborhood just outside the the park and as soon as his vehicle was out-of-view, we hauled ass into the neighborhood where I was parked. That was the end of it. NOPD showed up but they were buzzing around the park. They hardly gave a shit.

Only other thing was the Power Plant here. We set off a perimeter alarm before getting inside one of the first times, and once more recently inside. I believe the Proper People have encountered that demonic, screeching racket.
