I agree , mopar shit is crazy expensive due to the fact that theres just less of it out there (and mopar muscle cars better than anything GM ever made IMO) and atleast they reproduce a lot of stuff for the mopars. Me having owned a few AMC's know how difficult it can be finding parts and nobody makes anything besides drivetrain parts for them.

that's, of course, a matter of opinion and one i disagree with. Consider this, the Ford Escort had a hemi too. ;)

"Needs alternator- $100 tops"- RIGHT. This is a Porsche you dumb fuck. If the alternator was $100, why wouldn't you buy one with your welfare cheque, install it and sell the car as a roadworthy 924 for a grand more?

And I hate you more for installing those awful seats. And for owning a Porsche with an automatic tranny. Go find a rope.

Maybe he means $100 for an ebay one.....
Those seats are greasy as fuck, stereo install has been botched - i bet that car has electrical issues.

Two year ago I passed on a running and driving example in much better shape for $700 because it had rusty quarters and needed door panels. Wrong year muscle is always cheaper.

Well, you learn something new every day- it also wasn't the ugliest Charger!

How do you end up there from what the '68 and '69 were?

it's like my dad's 79 Thunderbird... it's a car 400ft long with less room inside it than a Toyota Yaris! Automakers have come a long way since the 70's.
