The last time we were there, we took or vehicles INSIDE past the fence. That was a whole lot safer than having it seen by people/NOLAPD. If you have a bicycle/motorcycle, there is a shipping crate in the parking lot for it to be stored in.

Actually, 1 of the rides was salvaged. This came from Wikipedia:

In 2005, the effects of Hurricane Katrina caused Six Flags to abandon its New Orleans park, and after standing but not operating for two years, the Batman ride was relocated to Six Flags Fiesta Texas where, in 2008, it opened as Goliath.

I was here for work about 6 weeks ago and I couldn't get free to see this place. I figured this place would be crawling with wildlife....guess so? Any idea why it's not torn down yet?

srsly, fuck that place.
