No but really. I've been here 4 times, and thrown out twice because other people keep parking at the front gate and drawing attention. I hate it (but not really).

If you DO plan to go, park in a neighborhood and walk. The police drive by every day to look for vehicles at the entrances. I wish you more success than what I've had.

About the parking: It is not a problem if you do it right.

The last time we were there, we took or vehicles INSIDE past the fence. That was a whole lot safer than having it seen by people/NOLAPD.
If you have a bicycle/motorcycle, there is a shipping crate in the parking lot for it to be stored in.

Hey, its theshortestsim. Urbexkeith is my roommate and I stole his laptop for a second. They've put up concrete barricades into the parking lot from both entrances at some point this summer. And the crate is gone now. I think you must have gone around the time they were filming the movie. It was a lot more accessible for the film trucks. They're definitely cracking down, so it's good that you got in when you did.

Gah, so sad I didn't get to go last time! But we're planning on going really soon, so yeah. Great shots! Love the perspectives in 5717 and 5972.

My first thought when she said "Kicked out twice" was "You've only been kicked out?!" Not much to complain about now is there? esp. when you get such lovely shots and get to meet such nice gators!!

We parked on the highway, walked over the wee hill, and found no trouble at all. We stayed an hour or two before leaving.

We were there while they were filming DOTPOTA. The person I was with was seen, and so security stormed the park. You stay hidden long enough, they leave. *shrugs* ...not sure the police would give up, though. Just stay hidden long enough for them to find the other guys. Hahaha.

Some how we were always the first they found! I think it's because we were going through slowly and taking photos as opposed to running through and smashing shit. <grandma> damn kids </grandma>.

Hey Keith.. we did end up trying six flags while i was down and had some sketchy ass group of "security" aiming a gun at us and shit as we were setting up cameras. so your prediction was right.. didn't even see any dinosaurs.


ok so that's two times successful and that last time anything but.
the place has really gone down hill through the past 5 years..
seems destroyed.
