There is a simulcast trunking site for Toronto Police up there, which is badly needed to provide comms up the Don Valley Parkway. If that stack were to go away, TPS/EMS/TFS wouldn't have communications on the Don Valley south of about Spanbridge. They'll have to move all that over first. If that happens, I'll be sure to let y'all know, because the only reason they'd relocate that gear is if they're going to demolish the stack. Unit calling radio say again?

Even the few who climbed the stack a few years back said they didn't see any equipment. But I can assure you, it's there. I know a fellow who installed it, and I know a guy who maintains it. Plus, take a look at the stack, on the north side...just below the white section. Them be antennas son. Unit calling radio say again?

Negative, captain. The only thing listed for the City of Toronto is the Toronto Municipal System (IE, Hydro, Works, Water, Forestry, etc...) but nothing public safety. Now, is that thing linked via landline or microwave? Because I don't think it would be a bright idea to have it wired via landline there...
